Project Information
Supported recurring annual sustainment of NAVFAC EXWC Diving Operations Division assets, including approximately $2.4 million in diving equipment, weight-handling equipment, vehicles, and three worldwide-deployable diving vessels focused on characterizing seabed characteristics. The work included equipment inventory, readiness management, maintenance coordination, and recurring expeditionary survey-equipment training for Underwater Construction Team TWO. This effort demonstrates hands-on sustainment of specialized government equipment through asset management, maintenance planning, logistics support, technical training, and operational-readiness oversight.
Impact
The sustainment effort improved customer readiness by keeping critical dive, survey, vessel, and support equipment maintained, accounted for, and deployment-ready, reducing downtime and ensuring teams could respond quickly to operational requirements.
